Connection & Exploration
"all these shapes and colors are,
so it doesn't hurt so badly."
Born and raised in the beautiful Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, Jillian has used the nature surrounding her as an influence in her process and therapy-based art to create multimedia works. Mediums including ceramic, fiber art, painting, drawing, and collage are used to combine properties by exploring color, texture, and natural and synthetic objects. She works from emotional, mental, and spiritual states of consciousness to create visual art that focuses on the relationship between the mind, body, and soul, and the connections all around us.

Jillian is currently a Senior at East Stroudsburg University working on her BFA in Integrated Art & Design with a concentration in Fine and New Media, and minoring in Psychology, with the goal to pursue Art Therapy in Graduate School. She has had two solo exhibitions titled “Beginning and Ending,” along with multiple group exhibitions such as “Earth Speaks V,” “Art All Around Us,” “Art + Design Exhibition,” & “Process of Connectivity.” Throughout the year, she will be continuing to work on a new series of work consisting of multimedia visual narratives used with the technology at her school.
